How to register on Sorare?
You have decided to take the step and join the Sorare adventure? In this case, welcome to you! I will explain you all the steps of the registration process and then show you how to deposit money on Sorare to buy your first players.
To register on Sorare and buy players, you need Ethereum. Don't worry if you're not familiar with crypto-currencies and NFTs, just follow this tutorial to the letter. If you have any questions, I remind you that I am available via LinkedIn or Twitter.
When you sign up, it is interesting to go through a referral link because you and your referral can win a free card, It's a win-win. Just buy 5 players at the auction and you will receive a free card!

By clicking on my link, you will arrive on this page. Click on the "Play" button.
You then have several options:
1. Enter your email, username and password.
2. Sign up via Facebook.
3. Sign up via Gmail.
You will then have a short tutorial explaining the basics of the game. Just press next when you have read it.
You are asked to create your first team, when you click on "enter a team" you will receive your first pack of common players.
Compose your team by choosing as captain the player who you think will score the most points in his next game.
Below the card you can see the player's score from his last 5 games, this can help you to choose your team and your captain.
When this step is finished you will receive a pack containing one new common players.
You will see a new small tutorial in 2 parts.
You are then asked to follow the players you want to follow, put your favorite players or future stars in your eyes.
You will receive another common player.
Congratulations, you are now registered at Sorare.

How to deposit money on your Sorare account?
Click on the blue portfolio in the upper right corner. Your wallet will appear.
You have several possibilities to fund your account, but I suggest you choose Ramp.
This month of December 2021, you can deposit money without any fees being added. Indeed, Sorare has decided to take care of all the fees for this month of December 2021, if you want to be part of this adventure this is the best time to do it!
When you click on "Ramp", here is what will appear on your screen:
Enter the amount you want to invest. It is important to remember that you should not invest more than you can lose. Do not deposit money that you or your family use for living. There is always a risk when you invest, so think carefully before you take the plunge.
They will first ask for your email address, then you will have to confirm it by pasting the code you will receive at the address you have entered.
You have 3 possibilities to deposit money:
1. Via credit card it takes a few minutes.
2. Via bank transfer it can take between 2 and 3 days
3. Via a Revolut account, if you don't know what it is you don't have one so proceed with one of the other two solutions.
After that, Ramp will check your identity by asking for photos of your ID card or passport. They do this to avoid multi-accounts.
When you have done all this, you will have money in your Sorare account.
Now you are ready to buy players!
How to buy players?
There are different ways to acquire cards on Sorare:
Auctions (primary market)
Every day, Sorare auctions off cards. These are new cards that have never been owned by another player before. Their experience level is therefore minimal since they have not yet been used in the game. To acquire these cards, you must offer the highest price within the time limit. Auctions are a great opportunity to get a good deal in the last moments.
Manager sales (secondary market)
It is also possible to buy a card put up for sale by another manager. The manager sets the price and the first player to pay the required amount gets the card. If the price seems too high, it is possible to make an offer at a different price and then you will have to wait for the seller's agreement to get the card.
Exchange
By visiting the profile of another manager, it is possible to make an offer to buy a card or to exchange it. If both parties agree on the transaction, cards can be exchanged between them.

But be careful, don't go too fast!
You should first think about a strategy before buying your first players and not go in blindly or buy on a whim because you may regret it.
I advise you to first observe how the game works, try to understand it by playing for free with the common cards and by walking around the primary and secondary market. Once you are familiar with the game, start thinking about which players you want to buy.
